UTOOR

Utoor is a small and beautiful village in Manakondur mandal, karimnagr District .Geographically it is beside the Manair sub-river and it was 25kms from the Karimnager.
The population of the village is approximately 4000 which is third in the mandal. Many communities of people are living in the village and There is a good irrigation land farmers yield food and commercial products, these lands are surrounded by canals and lakes .
Utoor has a big govt Telugu medium school where around 500 students are studying , students from adjacent villages also studying in this school. This school also have a social welfare hostel.
Utoor has a SBH bank in the village and this is the first local bank established in the mandal level. A 10 beds facility hospital was established in the village by the Prathima Institute of Medical Science(PIMS).The NRI's of the village was helped in the construction of this hospital.An MBBS doctor working in the hospital as a consultant doctor.
There is an historical temple in the village which was built by the great kings Shathavahana's and a new temple also built besides the old temple.
